We will pick you up from St Peter Port or your Cruise Ship, from where we will head on a scenic tour of the island. We will drive around the coast of Guernsey stopping at various locations for photo opportunities. Here your guide will tell you about Guernsey and try to answer any questions you may have.
The coast of Guernsey has dramatically changed from keeping out French invaders to the German Occupation defences. Yet, despite all, retains its wild beauty. Bring your camera!
The Channel Islands were the only British territory to be occupied by the Germans.
The islands were declared demilitarised by the UK government, which left a sour taste in Guernseymen's mouths.
We will take you back in time from the day war was declared against Germany in September 1939; tell you what life was like for the local people, who, in later years, were accused of fraternisation with the enemy; then we will bring you up to date with the liberation of Guernsey in 1945.
A must for all ages.
Hop on a small minibus for a small Private Island Tour for 3 hours, see most of Guernsey parish by parish. We then stop for an afternoon tea.
This is at a highly rates Hotel in Guernsey, just on the top of St Peter Port.
After you have relaxed you will meet your walking Guide and walk around the City/Town of St Peter Port, taking in the sights, learing the island history.
We feel this is the best way to see and taste the real Guernsey in one day.
Walking is around 90 minutes mixed easy levels
